Spaces for reflection, understanding, and regeneration.
Change always brings movement, not just structural, but emotional, relational, and cultural. Our workshops help people and systems notice what is shifting, name what is ending, and build literacy for what renewal might ask of them within the workplace.
Surfacing: Making the unspoken visible.
For individuals or small groups in transition. Three 90 minute sessions.
Change begins with noticing. This foundational workshop creates space for individuals experiencing transition within their organisation after restructures, role changes, or other endings to pause, reflect, and express what has been held inside.
Using LEGO® Serious Play®, Clean Language and methods from SOARR (Surface–Origin–Act), participants explore what is present, where their feelings and responses originate, and how small acts of awareness can begin to restore coherence and agency in their role, team or organisation.
This workshop involves three, 90 minute sessions as follows:
Externalising the Impact: The first session is about moving the internal weight of change from your mind onto the table. We focus on surfacing “your story" (your lived reality). By building this landscape with bricks, we help you identify the specific "quiet grief" or tensions that haven't had a chance to be spoken. You will leave with a clearer, externalised model of your current work climate.
Mapping the Systemic Undercurrents: In this session, we go deeper into the "why" to help you create your “origin story.” We look at the "Fault Lines" in your model to see where today’s tensions connect to older organisational patterns or "invisible infrastructure." By tracing the origins of these feelings, we shift the perspective from personal struggle to systemic insight. We begin to notice "small cracks" in the silence where new awareness can emerge.
Building a Literacy for the Future: The final session is about translation and movement. We harvest the metaphors discovered in the models to help you create a "Grief Literacy" toolkit, a set of names and phrases for the previously "unspoken." We then build and physically test some "Micro-Acts" of agency: tiny, sustainable shifts in how you speak, act, or hold your boundaries. You will leave with restored agency and a concrete map for moving forwards.
Outcomes:
Language and metaphor for unspoken experience
Ethical witnessing and shared understanding
First steps toward self- and organisational grief literacy
System of the unexpressed.
For individuals, teams, or whole organisations.
Every organisation holds a system of unexpressed grief, the emotional undercurrent of transitions, losses, and identity shifts that remain unnamed.
In this longer-form workshop, we use systemic constellations, LEGO® Serious Play®, Clean Language, Superplay and Dialogue to map how grief moves through the system. Participants identify the principles and mental models shaping their organisation’s relationship to loss, care, and renewal.
This workshop becomes the foundation of your organisation’s grief literacy programme: a shared framework for how endings are acknowledged and beginnings are designed. It helps you surface and renew the principles and mental models that shape how people experience moments of organisational transition.
Outcomes:
Systemic map of unspoken grief patterns
Emerging organisational principles and mental models for grief literacy
Foundations for cultural renewal and trust rebuilding
Transitions in transformation.
For project or change teams within transformation programmes.
Every major transformation carries unseen emotional dynamics. When these are ignored, momentum falters; when they are acknowledged, transformation becomes genuine.
This intervention weaves grief literacy into existing or upcoming organisational change initiatives — mergers, restructures, service redesigns, or transitions of leadership. Using approaches such as LEGO® Serious Play® and systemic constellations, we help teams externalise complex experiences, see the wider system, and explore new possibilities together.
Participants learn to recognise their own transitions within the broader system, honour endings, and intentionally shape beginnings. The process enhances psychological safety, continuity, and collective energy for change.
Outcomes:
Integration of grief literacy into change methodology
A framework for navigating endings and beginnings systemically
Increased team cohesion and adaptive capacity
All &Koh workshops are designed and facilitated in a neuroinclusive way, recognising and respecting all neurotypes. Drawing on methods such as LEGO® Serious Play®, systemic constellations, Clean Language, and dialogic practice, we create multiple ways to participate — visual, verbal, embodied, and reflective — so people can engage in the ways that work best for them.
&Koh offers grief literacy and transition workshops for organisations. We focus on understanding loss and change in systems, building shared language, and designing more humane practices. This is not therapy or counselling and doesn’t replace clinical support.
The SOARR Approach
&Koh’s framework for building grief literacy and regenerative capacity
Developed by &Koh, SOARR is a systemic framework that helps organisations navigate transitions by making sense of the emotional and relational patterns that accompany change. It blends systems thinking, dialogue, play, and reflective practice to guide people through five developmental moves:
Surface what is present
Trace Origins where patterns and principles emerge
Act with awareness
Rewire mental models
and Regenerate systems for the future.
